Wake Up World -
a new FREE curriculum for congregations

Wake Up World is a curriculum on the climate crisis for faith and community groups, created by and for non-scientists.
You can use it as a small-group study using the free downloadable materials, or pick and choose from the 53 short videos to use in worship or any way you choose. The videos introduce folks to leaders in the climate justice movement, from Activists to Scientists.
Robert is a retired United Methodist minister, and Anita is a retired clinical social worker.
This Creation Justice Legislation at General Conference 2024 Study Guide is designed as a 1 - 6 week adult group study.
The guide includes 6 chapters that can be completed at the pace of one each week. Each of the items of creation justice legislation in this study guide is now part of the governing documents of The United Methodist Church. The chapters focus on one piece of legislation at a time.
Each chapter offers a summary and goal of the legislation, and a bio of the legislation author, as well as a Scripture reflection, prayer, and opportunity to brainstorm and work through next steps in context.
Interspersed between the chapters are stories about the legislation and the people who wrote and submitted that legislation for consideration.
Also included is a story about the creation justice effort in The United Methodist Church, including Caretakers of God’s Creation and The United Methodist Creation Justice Movement.
